Unfortunately, there are no overnight homeless shelters in Ellis County. The organizations listed in Ellis County are mostly transitional homes to help you with a new start.

All the organizations listed may have requirements to use their services. Please check with your choice to see if you qualify.

Provides employment guidance, educational resources, assistance for applying to mainstream benefits, counseling and additional services related to foster care and adoption. Allow 2 3 wks for intake process to be completed. Can serve 17 single parent families and 6 transitional living clients. Must have a vehicle. Babies must be at least 6 wks old.
